Nathan Sandberg, from Bullseye Glass, taught a great 4 day class, Kinlcasting With Frit, at Austin Glass Fusing Center in Austin, Texas. This class included mold making, working with frit, and firing.

Kilncasting With Frit
Kilncast glass objects may be made using a variety of glass materials. This workshop focused on the particular advantages of using glass frits in the kilncasting process. Simple three-dimensional forms are used to explore the careful modulation of color that can be achieved by tint mixing. Students created open-faced castings while learning basic mold making processes, firing procedures, and basic coldworking skills.
